Description
**AnalogFilm ToolBox** is a desktop companion for shooting, testing, and developing film at home — not another spreadsheet, not another subscription app.
Log your chemistry. Audit cameras before you load a roll. Export Lightroom presets. Everything stays on your machine.

### WHO IT’S FOR
– Film shooters who develop at home and want one place for logs and gear
– Collectors tracking cameras, lenses, and fridge stock
– Anyone who audits thrift-store cameras before wasting a roll
– Lightroom users who want handcrafted film-look `.XMP` presets without a monthly preset club

### HOW TO USE
1. Download the installer from your order email (limited downloads — save a backup copy).
2. Install and launch AnalogFilm ToolBox. No account required.
3. Start on **Tips & Tricks** for a quick tour, then open each tab from the main navigation.
4. Add gear, log rolls, run the agitation timer during development. Everything saves immediately.
5. Open **Settings** (bottom-left) to export your database, change theme, or print PDF previews to Documents.
**Pro-tip:** Export your database from Settings after major updates. Your backup lives outside the install folder — reinstalling never wipes your logs or inventory.

### macOS — FIRST LAUNCH (SECURITY PROMPT)
Because AnalogFilm ToolBox is sold directly (not through the Mac App Store), macOS may block the app the **first time** you open it — for example: *“Apple cannot check it for malicious software.”* That is normal for independent software. The app is from KILLUMIDEN, works offline, and contains no analytics or cloud sync.
**If the app is blocked, do this once:**
1. Open the `.dmg` and **drag AnalogFilm ToolBox to Applications** (do not run from inside the disk image).
2. Double-click the app in Applications. macOS will block it — expected on the first try.
3. Open **System Settings → Privacy & Security**.
4. Scroll down and click **Open Anyway** next to AnalogFilm ToolBox. (Appears only after step 2; may take up to a minute.)
5. Click **Open** in the dialog. The app launches normally. You will not repeat these steps.
**Apple Silicon (M1/M2/M3) on macOS 15+:** Right-click → Open often fails. Use **Open Anyway** in System Settings.
